Nice model can't tell you much other then it is made in Japan around 1974 ( sorry more familiar with the Yamaki made W-250 ) but I can tell you there were not a lot of these made by Terada and it should be basically the same as the Yamaki laminate spru...

I believe the the D-70 SW was made in the US, a very limited run and can come at a very high price. Beautiful instrument and worth having it you can find and afford it.

I hope this helps.   D = Dreadnought style; C = single rounded Cutaway; E = onboard preamp (acoustic-Electric); M = all Mahogany body (back/sides/top are laminate); TBL = Trans BLue. According to Blue Book, these were made from 1997-2000.

OP was inquiring what the numbers/letters in the model number of his guitar meant. At the end of my post I was letting him know I also had a trans-blue D10M and as my model does not have the "CE" designation (no cutaway/preamp) it would not be consider...
